Mesobank is pleased to announce the publication of a new methodology in F1000Research, demonstrating the use of Mesobank samples in advancing alternatives to traditional rodent models in cancer research. This study, which relied on access to fresh tissue, highlights the essential role of participants who generously donated their samples and consented to their use in scientific research.
The publication, titled “Methodology for generating chorioallantoic membrane patient-derived xenograft (CAM-PDX) models of pleural mesothelioma and performing preclinical imaging for the translation of cancer studies and drug screening”, presents a novel approach using the chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) model to support preclinical imaging and drug screening in pleural mesothelioma.
